BBA Aviation/Signature Flight Support Moving Headquarters to Lake Nona Town Center

Tavistock Development Company, a diversified real estate firm owned by Tavistock Group, announced earlier today that BBA Aviation/Signature Flight Support has selected Lake Nona Town Center for the company’s new headquarters.

Developed by Tavistock Development Co., PCL Construction plans to break ground on the new office building this fall with a projected completion date in late 2018.

Conveniently located within the growing Lake Nona Town Center at the southwest corner of Veteran’s Way and Lake Nona Boulevard, the new BBA Aviation/Signature Flight Support headquarters will consist of 65,000 SF within the newest six-story, class-A multi-tenant office building at Lake Nona Town Center.

“We could not be more pleased to locate our new BBA Aviation/Signature Flight Support headquarters in the Lake Nona Town Center,” noted Maria A. Sastre, President and Chief Operating Officer for Signature Flight Support. “This state-of-the-art business and residential community offers endless benefits for our employees, and for the future of BBA Aviation/Signature Flight Support. We have designed a superior working environment for our team, where we will continue to drive our world-class business forward, and we very much look forward to becoming part of the Lake Nona community.”

BBA Aviation/Signature Flight Support’s new headquarters facility will be LEED-designed and will implement the latest innovations in climate control, natural light, collaborative spaces, ergonomic work stations and outdoor spaces. Occupancy is expected in the first quarter of 2019.

Designed by award-winning architecture firm m+a architects, with interior architecture of the BBA/Signature Flight Support headquarters by Little, the new headquarter offices will have a prime location within Tavistock’s master-designed Lake Nona, which remains the region’s fastest-growing community.

Developed in partnership with Steiner + Associates serving as the exclusive retail planning, leasing and development services partner, Lake Nona Town Center is a 100-acre, 3.8 million square foot mixed-use experiential magnet and regional destination nestled within the large-scale Lake Nona master-planned community. At full buildout, Lake Nona Town Center will include more than 80 specialty retailers, anchors, junior anchors and restaurants.

Lake Nona Town Center has already successfully opened and leased 75,000 square feet of class-A office space, 16,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, a dual branded Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott hotel, and a multi-level parking structure.

Additional new office projects within the Lake Nona community include various built-to-suit opportunities from the Sports & Performance District to the growing southern portion of the Lake Nona development along Boggy Creek Road and the south entrance to Orlando International Airport. This developing portion of the property is home to Voxx International Corporation’s headquarter campus and recently landed a new Amazon high-tech fulfillment center that is set to open next year.
