As Senior Vice President of Commercial Sales and Development for Tavistock Development Company, Skipper Peek leads commercial real estate and business development for Tavistock’s large-scale, master-planned communities of Lake Nona and Sunbridge in Central Florida and Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale.
In his role, Skipper leads Tavistock’s commercial real estate transaction team for entitlements totaling more than 11 million square feet of development spanning more than 12,000 acres. Under Skipper’s leadership, Lake Nona has flourished into a nationally renowned mixed-use project that is recognized for its excellence in design, technology, health and wellness.
Prior to joining Tavistock, Skipper forged his career serving tenures with Panattoni Development Company, DeBartolo Property Group, Highwood Properties and Citicorp Real Estate. With expertise across a field of subjects – including land use, zoning, design, feasibility analysis, finance and construction – Skipper is a frequent guest lecturer at Florida’s top academic institutions and national professional associations.
Skipper currently sits on the University of Florida Center for Real Estate Studies-Advisory Board, University of South Florida College of Business-Advisory Board, Jesuit High School Foundation-Board of Directors, International Council of Shopping Centers and elogic Learning-Board of Managers.
He is a graduate of the University of Florida.
