Lake Nona kicks off on ‘urban campus’ office

Turner Construction Co. in September broke ground on Headquarters Office Building B, eight-story, 278,917-square-foot Class A office building at 13410 Veterans Way off of Lake Nona Boulevard in Lake Nona.
No tenants were announced, as of Dec. 17.
Parties involved:

Turner Construction, Tavistock Development Co. LLC
Cost: $83 million-$100 million (estimated)
Why it matters: The building is the centerpiece of the new Lake Nona Office Headquarters urban campus, southeast Orlando’s largest office cluster. The Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS) is rumored to be in talks to temporarily lease space in Building B as it builds out its own massive Lake Nona office campus, which will house 2,000 professionals relocated from the entertainment giant’s Burbank, California headquarters, sources said, though Tavistock didn’t confirm that.
