Lake Nona’s growth, ‘financial strength’ lure HQ relocations

A growing number of companies plan to move into Lake Nona this year, bringing with them jobs and more economic impact as the fast-growing Orlando community continues to attract corporate relocations.

Brazil-based Invel and Ocala-based ClosetMaid Corp. expect to open offices in the coming months in Lake Nona’s 650-acre Medical City life sciences hub, creating a combined 20 jobs.

ClosetMaid signed a lease for about 13,000 square feet of space in a newly built office tower in the Lake Nona Town Center. It will join Signature Flight Support Corp., which this month relocated 350 employees from downtown Orlando to its new 65,000-square-foot headquarters office in Lake Nona.
