McCraney, Tavistock start building more spec industrial space near I-Drive

A 206-acre speculative business park near the Orange County Convention Center has kicked off more construction, showing confidence in industrial despite the pandemic hurting other real estate sectors.

The development team — Orlando-based McCraney Property Co. and Windermere-based Tavistock Group — started construction this month on Infinity Park’s second phase, which will add roughly 733,000 square feet of industrial space to the property, McCraney Property CEO Steven McCraney told Orlando Business Journal. Construction will wrap up in spring 2021 and no leases have been signed. Lakeland-based general contractor Marcobay Construction Inc. is the general contractor, and there are subcontractor opportunities available, McCraney said.
