Tavistock Development Company has landed a Marriott flag for its new hotel on Lake Nona Boulevard that will open in early 2023.
The Lake Nona master developer announced plans for a new music-themed Aloft Hotel, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s brand portfolio. Construction is expected to start in early 2022 on the 6-story hotel, which is just north of S.R. 417 and next to Drive Shack. “We’re excited to continue our partnership with Marriott International and bring the like-minded Aloft Hotels brand to Lake Nona,” said Jamie Bruce, Vice President for Tavistock, owner and developer of Lake Nona.
“Lake Nona’s passion for innovation coupled with Aloft’s bold, vibrant spirit make this hotel an ideal location where new hospitality innovations can be explored. We can’t wait for locals and travelers to experience the one-of-a-kind personality and amenities that the Aloft Lake Nona will offer.”
The project was first reported by GrowthSpotter in June, when Tavistock filed a Specific Parcel Master Plan for the hotel.
