Tavistock prepping new Sunbridge sales center to open in 2021

Tavistock Development Company has filed initial plans for a nature-themed “experiential” sales and welcome center at the entrance to its master-planned Sunbridge community in northeast Osceola County.

“We’re calling it Base Camp,” Vice President Jessi Blakley said of the 31-acre site on Cyrils Drive, directly across from Del Webb at Sunbridge.

The developer has successfully used the centralized welcome center concept at Lake Nona, where it provides information about neighborhoods, builders, and amenities in the community. Blakley said the Sunbridge base camp would be a hub of activity.

“Sunbridge is going to be this incredible place that connects people with nature and offers unprecedented access to the Florida beauty that exists in our community,” she said. “The center will showcase that in the early phase of a master-planned community that will take decades to build out.”
