University of Central Florida Health Sciences Campus

The University of Central Florida Health Sciences Campus is an integral part of Lake Nona’s health & life sciences cluster. Its campus includes the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences, College of Medicine, with a new College of Nursing in development.

The University of Central Florida Health Sciences Campus at Lake Nona is a 50-acre state-of-the-art complex dedicated to biomedical research, medical education and health sciences education. The campus features the UCF College of Medicine, which epitomizes innovation, high-tech learning tools, and a pioneering spirit that educates young doctors and scientists in a new and improved way for the 21st century.

A State-Of-The-Art Campus

In addition to the medical school, the campus is also home to the UCF Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences, which houses a major transgenic animal facility and three Biosafety Level 3 laboratories, making it an ideal environment for students interested in advancing medical research.

The new UCF College of Nursing, currently under development, will be located in a 90,000 square-foot state-of-the-art building with flexible instructional space, wet and dry lab space – including dedicated space for virtual reality education and structured clinical examination, space to study and collaborate, and innovative simulation and skills labs.
