Orlando VA Medical & SimLearn Center
The 1.2 million-square-foot Orlando VA Medical Center serves the region’s 400,000 veterans by providing acute care, complex specialty care, advanced diagnostic services, a large multi specialty outpatient clinic, administrative and support services. This campus is also home to the SimLEARN National Simulation Center.
The Orlando VA Medical Center at Lake Nona is a 1.2 million-square-foot facility that includes a large multi specialty outpatient clinic, 134-inpatient beds, 120-community living center beds, a 60-bed domiciliary and administrative and support services.”

This campus has been designated by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as an “Emerging Center of Innovation.” It is home to the first VA hospital to be built in the United States since 1995, and with more than 1.8 million veterans calling Florida home, there was a strong need to build a facility capable of providing quality health care and services to local veterans and their families.
