The Lake Nona training campus of the United States Tennis Association — tennis’ national governing body — uses the guiding values and principles of excellence, innovation, inclusiveness and passion to build an engaged and happy workforce.

USTA surveys its staff each year to continuously enhance its operations, as well as increase employee satisfaction. The USTA has an extensive rewards and recognition program. Furthermore, the staff is recognized for fostering our service culture and best exemplifying our standards and behavioral guidelines through programs such as:
- The USTA Recognition and Reward Program is a monthly, quarterly and annual reward program that encourages all staff members to acknowledge the hard work and exceptional achievements of their colleagues by nominating them for our three award categories: USTA Champions Award, USTA Beyond the Baseline Award and USTAAdvantage Award.
- The You Served Excellence Awards are awarded monthly to increase and sustain the quality of our service culture. It is a peer-to-peer recognition program where employees submit cards recognizing staff that has excelled with our standards and behavioral guidelines of safety, friendliness, experience and efficiency.
- The Friends and Family Discount Program provides employee discounts to several local restaurants, services, community activities and entertainment venues.
- The USTA Business Resource Groups — organizationally supported groups of employees, drawn together by a particular common diversity characteristic or interest, and open to all employees, regardless of whether they are part of that demographic group — are essential to the organization’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
