Condo sales to launch at Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale

Tavistock Development Co. will launch condo sales in October at the revamped Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina in Fort Lauderdale, which is already under construction.

The hotel at 2301 S.E. 17th St. closed for renovations in 2019 and Orlando-based Tavistock started redeveloping the property in late 2021. It anticipates opening the hotel and the first phase of condos in 2024.

There will be 93 units in the first phase. Two 11-story condos will rise, featuring 31 units that range from 2,600 to 2,700 square feet. There will also be two villa buildings of four stories each, with a combined 31 units ranging from 1,600 to 3,800 square feet. The residential buildings will sit along a marina promenade featuring restaurants, shops and marine-related offices.

West Palm Beach-based Garcia Stromberg designed the project. Tavistock hired Amy Ballon, who previously worked with the Related Group, as director of sales.

Tavistock has yet to disclose condo pricing.

“The Residences at Pier Sixty-Six will offer owners a distinct lifestyle marrying luxury condo living with a world-class marina, premier resort amenities, and social environment that is unmatched in South Florida,” Tavistock Chief Operating Officer Craig Collin said.
