This community set a home sales record during the pandemic. Here’s why.

The pandemic has slowed many aspects of the residential real estate market, but one local community enjoyed its best month ever in May.

There were 65 sales in Orlando’s Lake Nona last month, beating the previous monthly sales record of 61 homes. It’s a reflection of the draw of master-planned communities during the ongoing period of economic and health uncertainty.
